I have no pictures of my work on this site, it is rock inlayed in the drift wood. What you do with this medium is fantastic.
Thanks for the comments. It is made of Teak Roots found in riversides, forest and few driftwood found on the beach.
I need to get off my but and finish a project. The rock I inlay is broken into small pieces then glued into a grove or chisled out portion of the wood. Once I glue it in I use diamond bit tools to match the wood.
Isn't this one of Heather Jansch pieces of art?? I think we have one at the Crystal Bridges art museum.
Deborah Butterfield and Heather Jansch are most prominent and well known on this art. And we all have our own signature and style if one can see them much in details.
This is so cool! I've never seen driftwood sculpture like this before.
Amazing. I love these driftwood horses.
Wow, just wow!
This is incredible. I love how it genuinely looks like a horse, and everything falls gracefully into place. This is a real work of art, masterfully done!!! I wish I had this talent! :3
